We have compiled a list of questions and answers which might be helpful to our clients. Should you have any other questions which you need answers to, then please don’t hesitate to contact us. We will endeavour to answer all questions and include them in this list.

Why Do I Have To Register?

Registering as a member/seller on site affords a measure of security to users of the site. It is a quick, simple process where one can opt for a basic service or with the perks of a site store that come with paid membership ads.

Do Buyers Have To Register?

Buyers do not usually place ads. They tend to search the site looking for specific items. Therefore, No, they do not need to register. Occasionally however, you will get a buyer who will place an order looking for a specific item. In this case, they will have to register to place an ad.

Do I Get FREE ads.

Yes, everyone who registers gets 3 free regular ads monthly.

How Do I Register?

Click the 'Login/Register' icon just to the left of the 'Post Your Ad' button on the header. Fill in the field on the Registration form and click the 'Register'  button. You will now have access to your dashboard.

How Do I Post A Free Ad?

Log into your account and click the 'Post Your Ad' button. You can now see how many free ads you have and  you will have to select the Ad Type, Category and possibly a Sub-Category from a list of pre-populated fields. Additional information about the item such as Product Information, Title, Price and Description, etc can now be filled in. The seller can now expand on the items Features, and add an Image of the product. Finally, the seller will have to provide his contact details so that prospective buyers can contact him. It is not advisable to submit your full address. For obvious reasons, rather, provide the general area but not the house or apartment number. Finally, tick the box agreeing to abide by the sites Terms of Service and then click the Submit Listing button. Your listing will now have to be verified and approved by Admin.  You will now be directed to the checkout page where you also have the option of purchasing additional ad promotion features.

Select the Free pricing option, agree to the Terms and Conditions and tick Direct Bank Transfer. The ad is free but still has to go through the payment cycle. Now click Proceed to Payment. Now you have successfully processed your free ad and the receipt will reflect this fact.

Once your ad has been approve and payment has been received, it will be published and you will receive an email to that effect.

How to Post Paid Ads

Log into your account and go to the bottom of your membership report. You will see the following message, You can buy a subscription from here. Click it. A number of Pricing Packages will be available. Select the package which best suits your needs,  agree to the Terms and Conditions and tick Direct Bank Transfer. Now click Proceed to Payment. Big Oranges banking details will be made available to you and your Payment Status will reflect the purchase as Pending until such time as the monies are made available into Big Oranges account. Click the View all my listings button and you will return to your dashboard. When your payment has been received, your Membership Report will reflect the number and types of ads available to you. Click the Post Your Ad button to place an ad. Select the Ad Type, Category and possibly a Sub-Category from a list of pre-populated fields. Additional information about the item such as Product Information, Title, Price and Description, etc can now be filled in. The seller can now expand on the items Features, and add an Image of the product. Finally, the seller will have to provide his contact details so that prospective buyers and contact him. Finally, tick the box agreeing to abide by the sites Terms of Service and then click the Submit Listing button. You will now be directed to the checkout area where you get to select to use either your Membership Promotion (if you purchased a package) or the Regular Promotion ads. Nb. The Regular Promotion tab is at the very bottom of the page. Stay with Membership Promotion and select the promotion type which you want applied to that particular ad and then click the Proceed to promotion button. You will now be returned to your dashboard where you can view your published listing. You will receive an email notification informing you that your ad is pending review. when admin passes and publishes your ad, you will receive an email to notify you of the fact.

Yes, simply go to your Dashboard and click on My Listings. A list of your ads on display will be visible. Go to the ad which you now want to promote and click Promote on that particular ad.

You will be taken to the checkout submission page where you can select to use Membership promotions which you had previously purchased or to buy a promotion from the Regular Promotions field at the bottom of the page.

If you use a prepaid feature from the Membership Promotion field, it is simply deducted from your tally and you return to your Dashboard.

If you select a package feature from the Regular Promotion packages then you should click Proceed to payment where you can access Big Oranges banking details. Pay for the promotion feature you selected and exit back to your Dashboard by clicking View all my listings.

Unfortunately not. The Store feature does not apply to members only utilising FREE ads. Only those members who purchase Membership Promotion packages will get the Store feature.
